What is the duration of the Programmes in GTUC?
The study is conducted over a period of one (1) year. It is done on a modular basis, in the evenings and weekends. Weekend programmes are also full-time and are done over a period of one (1) year.
How many semesters are in one academic year?
There are three (3) trimesters. Students are expected to study four (4) modules in the first trimester and four (4) modules in the second trimester. The final trimester is a project semester which constitutes 60 credit hours.
Will students get the chance to go to Coventry University to take up some modules?
No. Lectures are offered at GTUC by expert faculty using traditional face to face instruction. Periodically, faculty from Coventry University teach some modules at GTUC.
What is the structure of the course in a trimester?
Students would be taught eight (8) modules in eight (8) months. At the end of each module, students are expected to write an individual assignment and group assignment. Depending on the module descriptor, some modules may require time constraint test. A more detailed master project would be done during the third trimester.

No. It is a purely international Certificate from Coventry University.
Do students have the opportunity to graduate in Coventry University?
Yes. You will be regarded as a Coventry Student and can graduate in Coventry University in UK. There are two (2) graduation ceremonies for every intake. One is held in Coventry University, UK, where GTUC students have the option to travel to Coventry for graduation. Another graduation ceremony is held in Ghana at GTUC.

What are the admission requirements?
A bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Lower Division in Science, Engineering, Art, Social Science or Management Science programmes.
Is there an opportunity for mature applicants who do not hold a first degree?
Yes. HND holders with at least a Second Class Lower Division degree and with six (6) year post qualification experience can apply as mature applicants. Holders of two year Diplomas from accredited Universities plus six years post qualification work experience also qualify as mature applicants
Must I have working experience before I can enroll in the programme?
Applicants to MSc programmes do not need work experience. However, applicants to MBA programmes must have at least two years post qualification work experience

Can students in GTUC get student identification from Coventry University e-library?
Yes. You will be given an identification which you will use to access the Coventry electronic library.
What is the application procedure?
Purchase an application for admission form (Contact Keystyle Travels for Application fee).
Alternatively, Forms can be scanned and sent as e-mail attachment to either gtuc@keystyletravels.com or enquiry@keystyletravels.com.
For downloaded forms, please include a bank teller of the Application fee.
The following supporting materials should be included in your submission:
- Copies of your qualification transcripts and certificates
- Three written references, with at least one academic reference
- Evidence of your English Language competence if English is not your first language
- Two passport sized photographs
What is the admission procedure?
The admission team reviews all applications. Shortlisted applicants are offered admission. Applicants may be invited for an admission interview, depending on the admission schedule for each intake. Applicants are required to submit all requested documents before applications are reviewed. Incomplete application forms are not processed.
